Founded in 1759 by the visionary Josiah Wedgwood, the Wedgwood brand is synonymous with quality fine bone china, ceramic, crockery tableware, dinner services and tea sets. Production has mainly moved from the Barlaston site in Stoke-on-Trent to Wedgwood's own factory in Indonesia, local workers trained in the art of producing the finest bone china dinnerware using high quality materials and the very latest computer controlled machinery. As Wedgwood own the factory they are able to control the whole manufacturing process ensuring that only the finest ceramics are produced and quality is never compromised.
